Notice relating to Cookies
of the website of Bertrand Hospitality Group
What is meant by the term ‘cookies’?
Our Website (the ‘Service’) generates ‘trace files’ or ‘cookies’ to offer you a unique browsing experience.
Cookies are small text files that may be stored in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), which may be used by websites to improve the user experience. They cover all technical connection data and history of actions carried out by a user of our Services.
Mostly, these log files record information relating to browsing on our Services which may be read during subsequent visits. These files are likely to store information such as the pages consulted, the date and time of the visit and the number of pages visited, the consultation, the times and duration of connections and the place of origin of communications, the connection identifiers (IP address, mac address, etc.), the trackers deposited and/or read, for example, when consulting an Internet site, reading an e-mail, installing or using software or a mobile application, with the exception, however, of any data relating to the content of correspondence exchanged or information consulted. Within our Services, cookies also enable you to be identified automatically without having to re-enter your username and password each time you connect.
Our Services use different types of cookies:
- for technical purposes, to ensure that our Services function properly
- to personalise the content of our Services according to your preferences;
- for statistical purposes to analyse our traffic;
- for advertising purposes to provide you with services and offers tailored to your interests.
Some are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages.
These files are essential for systems administration and are used to remedy malfunctions in the Services or computer systems used. They do not contain any identifying information about our users. If you wish to use the full functionality of our Services, the installation of certain so-called operating cookies is necessary. You can refuse the installation of cookies by changing the settings on your Internet browser. However, this operation will result in the deletion of existing cookies used by the browser, which may lead to the loss of certain information or settings.
The law stipulates that we can only store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of our Services. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie statement on our Services or later via this link / via this settings module.
Use of our Services is not entirely anonymous. Pursuant to French Decree no. 2006-358 of 24 March 2006 “Relatif à la conservation des données des communications électroniques”, traffic data must be retained for one (1) year from the date of recording. In addition, as part of legal proceedings, these files must be made available to the courts ‘for the purposes of investigating, establishing and prosecuting criminal offences’. An extract from these files will then be linked to the extract from the database of the users concerned. Other data collected, such as subscription information, is deleted regularly when it is no longer required. Depending on changes in legislation, other information may be archived. Users will be notified immediately.
If we were to use information about you collected by us in any other way, we would inform you of this at the time of collection or we would ask for your authorisation.
What types of cookies do we use and for what purposes?
The full list of cookies we use on our Services is set out below :

These cookies only concern the operation of our Services. We use them to activate the services on our Services that you have specifically requested.
These cookies are essential and necessary to ensure the optimal operation of our Services, and to enable you to use their services and functionalities. Without these cookies, which are absolutely necessary, our Services will not function as well as we would like. We would then be unable to provide our Services, or certain requested services or functionalities.
These cookies concern:
- browsing sessions (technical browsing session, servers used) ;
- display cookies (display resolution, operating system, browser used); and
- cookies used to detect a previous visit (e.g. to push the most recent restaurant searches).
Users will not be able to deactivate cookies of this type from the Website, but will be able to do so from the settings of their Internet browser.
This category of cookies must not be deactivated. If you use your browser settings to block strictly necessary cookies, we cannot guarantee your security or predict how the Services will function during your use.
Preference and personalisation cookies
These cookies collect information about your choices and preferences. They help us to identify the user during the session, so that we can offer you a personalised browsing experience and so that you do not have to go through the same site authentication procedures several times or receive the same information, etc.
These cookies enable you to perform the essential functions on our Services and ensure the transmission of the browsing information necessary for the proper functioning of our Services. They store in memory an element of a repetitive form field during a browsing session.
Statistics cookies
These cookies enable us to monitor the activity of the Services, to draw up statistics on the number of visitors and the use of the various elements making up our Services (sections and content visited, path taken, etc.), in order to improve their interest, ergonomics and performance according to actual use.
This data is collected anonymously.
These cookies enable us to generate reports and usage statistics on how visitors use our Services, and to improve the user experience and the quality of our Services.
These cookies include:
- audience measurement cookies (statistical data on visitor numbers and usage in order to improve the interest and ergonomics of the Services);
- browsing analysis cookies.
This type of cookie requires the user's consent.
This analysis may be carried out by third-party services, in which case they are considered to be third-party cookies. We use Google Analytics and Selligent (audience analysis tools / website or application browsing) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to track how visitors use our Services. If one or more new partners are added, your consent will again be requested for the type(s) concerned.
Advertising cookies
These cookies are used for marketing purposes. They enable us to display advertising content on the websites you visit that matches your areas of interest.
These cookies are placed by advertising agencies [●]; they collect data on your browsing habits in order to display more relevant advertising based on your centres of interest on the basis of your online browsing. If one or more new partners are added, your consent will be requested again for the type(s) concerned.
Examples of the use of performance and analysis cookies:
- to offer you advertising based on your areas of interest following use of our Services;
- to provide third party advertising agencies and social networks with data on your use of our Services so that they can offer you advertising based on your centres of interest;
- monitor the effectiveness of advertising by tracking the rate at which potential customers are converted into actual customers (records the fact that you have made a purchase after following a link to our Website from a third party website).
If you deactivate these cookies, you will not receive our targeted advertising on the various websites you visit.
This type of cookie requires the user's consent.
How to set and manage cookies
You are informed that you can oppose the recording of cookies via this link / via this settings module. If you decide to change your settings and disable cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of all the features of our Services.
Agreement on cookies
The storage of a cookie in a browser is subject to the consent of the user of the browser, which can be expressed and modified at any time and free of charge through the choices offered by the Website.
You may refuse the placement of a specific cookie at any time, or modify your choices via this link / via this settings module.
Refusal of cookies
If you refuse to accept cookies, or if you delete the cookies stored on your computer, you will no longer be able to benefit from a certain number of functions that are necessary for using our Services. This would be the case if you attempted to access our content or services that require you to be identified. The browsing session and authentication, in particular, are managed using cookies. By deactivating them, you de facto deactivate the possibility of using certain services for which authentication is required. This would also be the case if we (or our service providers) were unable to recognise, for technical compatibility purposes, the type of browser used by your browser, its language and display settings or the country from which your browser appears to be connected to the Internet.
We draw your attention to the fact that we are not responsible for the consequences linked to the degraded operation of our Services resulting from the impossibility for us to record or consult the cookies necessary for their operation and which you would have refused or deleted.
